Please note that this Returns Policy applies only to products and services purchased directly through www.madisonpublishinghouse.com, personalized orders placed via email, and/or bulk orders placed via email.
1. Returns
You have 30 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. Your item must be in the original packaging. You must have the receipt or proof of purchase.
2. Non-Returnable Items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, such as:
Custom or personalized products
Digital downloads
Gift cards
Sale items
3. Return Process
To initiate a return, please follow these steps:
Contact us at madisonpublishinghouse@gmail.com to inform us of your intent to return the item and to receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.
Pack the item securely in its original packaging, and include the RMA number, receipt, and any other required documentation.
Please use a trackable shipping method. We are not responsible for items lost or damaged during return shipping.
4. Refunds
Once we receive your returned item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item. We will immediately notify you of the status of your refund after inspecting the item.
Approval of Refund: If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your original method of payment. You will receive the credit within a certain number of days, depending on your card issuer's policies.
Partial Refunds: In some cases, only partial refunds are granted (e.g., items not in their original condition, items damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error).
5. Exchanges
If you received a defective or damaged item, please contact us at madisonpublishinghouse@gmail.com. We will send you a replacement item once we receive the original item.
6. Shipping Costs
Return Shipping Costs: You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning or your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
Refund for Original Shipping Costs: If you receive a refund, the cost of original shipping will not be included in your refund.
Exchange Shipping Costs: If you are exchanging an item due to our error (e.g., you received an incorrect item), we will cover the shipping costs for the replacement item.
7. Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, please check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company; it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at madisonpublishinghouse@gmail.com.
